Is what my Dr & the surgeon said when I asked them if this "umbilical hernia" would ever get worse.
So today was "hardly ever" day.

Just a quick word to let everyone know that I am mostly fine.

Some of you have noticed over the past year or so, that my belly button has become an extreme industrial strength "outie". It shows thru my t-shirts and garb on occasion. My Dr assured me that "Umbilical hernias" are not usually a big deal except sometimes they are. Today was that sometime for me. I was hauled off in an ambulance in extreme pain, moaning and then eventually screaming until I was given many painkillers and muscle relaxers and eventually stabilised. Xrays and CAT scans were done, manual adjustments were performed, and now my insides are, for the time being back inside where they belong. The upshot is that at the moment I am very very drugged and tired, and would probably not play very well, and have been told to avoid lifting and exertion for a while. And to rest tonight. So no 3LF practice for me.

I'll feel right as rain by tomorrow after lunch, I'm sure. And then I'll be seeing a surgeon soon for repairs to my infrastructure that should ensure that I not have subsequent days such as this one. Rare as they are, I still prefer to keep my guts inside me.

My other observation today is that the concrete floors in the hospital felt "squishy" to walk on.

I think I'll try and watch some TV until Patches brings me chinese food and more drugs. And then I'll go to bed.
