Thank you everybody for all the kind things you said as I lamented yesterday the unpleasant removal of some toxic people from the Chesapeake Pagan Community.

And now... some happy news:

I've been deemed worthy to adopt "Emily" an Irish Tenor Banjo who lives in MA somewhere.
The other night, Sonya saw on an email list we are on that the instrument was 'available to a good home' and pounced. The previous owner was hoping to get Emily placed into a home where she would be played, and found my credentials on that count credible. (Full time musician- loves Irish Music, is in two bands where tenor banjo has a precedent for use, already familiar with TB tuning, so no lessons required, familiar with banjo maintainance too, so Emily will get a good checkup, etc)

It even looks like we have an unbroken chain of mutual friends to get her down here without the hassle or cost of trying to ship a banjo. Woohoo!!!
