Happy Halloween successfully had.

Yesterday was infuriating for awhile. I worked some on recording a guitar part for the Rhianon album, and am at the "close, but not quite there yet" plateau.
Then, as I ran out of time for that, I had to get stuff ready for the evening's fun, which took infuriatingly long.
Every task, every errand, every sidetrip, was just fraught with delays delays delays.
Eventually I slogged thru it all, and got on the road and got re-centered.
One of my Halloween traditions is to give a good listen to Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother album. The title track (side A of the record) remains to this day, one of the spookiest, moodiest, and thrilling pieces of instrumental music I've ever heard. This piece BLEW MY MIND when I was 16, and it still does to this day. It is a perfect Halloween tune.

katrinb was a smashing success.
Munchies were munched, the baby was properly cooed and Kat was very happy to be among her friends on a Tuesday night again.
thelongshot put in a fascinatingly eerie anime series called "Boogiepop Phantom". It looks confusing, but I liked it. It has a very rich, complicated, and very subtle plot, that one has to be very very patient with. It's also the kind of story that one needs to take in several times to really grasp it all. He lent it to me.
Now to see if I can get out my gig announcements and see if there's time after that to work on some more recording till I have to go.
Oh, yeah. And have something to eat.
