Godzilla's IPod
Thursday, 28 September 2006 12:05On my way back from Rhianon practice last night, I was listening to the Washington Classic rock station (94.7) as is my wont.
Weazel was doing his "Boxed Set" show where he spends a couple of hours featuring songs and trivia from a given band. Last night he was doing Blue Oyster Cult (they're playing somewhere around here this weekend).
I could go on all day about how cool the band is, and all, with the "cowbell" mystique and the screaming guitars and SciFi lyrics. But I'll keep it short with this one observation:
If *I* were a giant monster in the process of destroying Tokyo, then I would definitely want the 1981 Madison Square Garden live recording of "Godzilla" to be playing on my IPod.
If you were giant monster destroying a city, what would be on *your* IPod?
