New Deal Setlist for 04/06/06

Last night started kinda quiet.

But I was in good voice, and so I just played stuff I liked, especially things like "Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands", and by the time I was done with that, there were enough people in the cafe to "fire it up", and ta-da! More folks showed up and the set turned really fab.

A highlight for me was that one of the waitresses was presented with a big bouquet of flowers by a suitor and everyone clapped, and people started requesting "flower songs". Hee hee!

And then there kept being songs where I really wished I had tape rolling. Gotta get back into that again.
It helped alot too.
