Hmmmm, we actually didn't have any problems with feedback on your condenser mic at the Brigid's Faire show, but rather on our condenser we were using for the Bodhran there were a couple surprise appearances, I think when the mic was touched. Fortunately we were able to identify the problem and fix it (and be mad at our feedback destroyer, which didn't catch it ;) ).
Sounds like a very oil and water situation. I'm sorry he didn't work out for you guys, but it certainly sounds like it'll be the best option for all concerned, as I'm sure things would've come to a head otherwise. I look forward to catching a show with the new lineup. :)
