Various updates

In other news, my studio is now ready for recording again.
I got the disc drives mounted in the enclosure and it all up and running.
With the new drive I got a couple of months ago, finally installed, my storage space has now more than doubled.

A few more things to clean up and I'm back into recording.

I also managed to do an amusing scrounge to myself.
For decades I've been carrying around this little two drawer nightstand. I've been pondering getting rid of it, as it's really beat up and ugly now and doesn't have what I don't have elswewhere, except...

In the rearranging, a part of the bookcase I'm using for gear was emptied. To make it useful again, I've been wondering if I should put in more shelves, tho I kinda wished for drawers.

Well, the nightstand fit in there perfectly, along with the file drawer that I'm using for CD storage, and there's more room for other stuff on top.

So, now my studio mics will have a drawer to live in. Plus something else I haven't decided what, will also have it's own drawer.

So this week, I'm hoping to start serious practice and get back into recording again.

In other other news, we go to look at baby Sumatran tigers on Saturday. Yay!!!!
