Not to mention mysteriously reduced work absenteeism and productivity losses when all of those of them who have horrid periods/ovarian cysts/PCOS/etc etc etc and aren't currently in treatment (with hormonal birth control) can get hooked up with the sort of HBC they want/need.
I'm Canadian and my provincial health service subsidises hormonal birth control, and I've never had any difficulty whatsoever in accessing it. The hooraw about it in the US baffles me at times.
